Big Ocean, the first K-pop group composed entirely of Deaf members, is taking on another global challenge. According to Parastar Entertainment, the group will officially release its third EP, 'The Greatest Battle', on March 3. In addition, ahead of the EP, a new logo and symbol were unveiled, with the symbol evoking a flowing wave and featuring the Big Ocean name and debut year, underscoring its symbolism in global markets. They began with their 2024 debut single 'Glow' and have already completed two European tours and one U.S. tour to date. This year, they plan to continue expanding onto global stages, with meet-and-greet events in 12 U.S. cities in March and a 6-city European tour in April to broaden engagement with a multinational fanbase. The trio comprises Kim Ji-seok, PJ, and Lee Chan-yeon, who debuted in April 2024. The large-scale global tour accompanying the new EP is drawing increased attention to how Big Ocean's music, crossing language barriers, will resonate with audiences worldwide. With the logo and symbol now revealed, the team's identity has become even more defined, and there is much focus on the message and timing of the EP 'The Greatest Battle'. The agency stated that 'The Greatest Battle' will be a milestone in Big Ocean's global challenge. They also added that alongside the March 3 EP release, the North American 12-city tour and the Europe tour in April aim to bring renewed attention to a Deaf-member K-pop group’s music across various platforms, signaling Big Ocean’s clear intent to build sustainable activity on the global stage beyond musical growth.
