ITZY will make a comeback on May 18 with a new mini album Motto. It marks their first new release in about six months since TUNNEL VISION was released in November 2025. JYP Entertainment announced on the 22nd via its official channels the Motto trailer, tracklist and promotion schedule. The trailer opens with outfits on a ladder and surreal props, as the five members climb down the ladder and gather in one place, and at the end the ladder rails form the letters of Motto for a striking ending. The video was directed by Léa Esmaili, who has been credited with realizing ITZY's distinctive and experimental visual world. The new album Motto includes the title track Motto, as well as Glitch and you And I. It also features the five solo songs the five members first showcased during the third world tour, Yeji's Pocket, Lia's Asylum, Ryujin's Look, Chaeryeong's Undefined, and Yuna's Tangerine, for a total of eight tracks. Domestic and international hit-makers such as Shim Eun-ji, Lee Woo-min's collapsedone, KASS, and Justin Reinstein contributed to the completion. The comeback promotion is also shaping up to be strong: from the 27th concept photos will be released, followed by individual content under the name What is your Motto, album spoilers, and a music video teaser in sequence. On the release day, May 18, at 5 p.m., ITZY will host a global countdown live to communicate with MIDZY. In addition, the U.S. physical album and a remix version of Motto are scheduled for release on May 22. ITZY is currently on their third world tour, Tunnel Vision. Beginning with a Seoul show, the tour has expanded to Melbourne and Sydney, then Tokyo, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Bangkok and Manila, touring the globe through July. The solo tracks debuted on the world tour — Yeji's Pocket, Lia's Asylum, Ryujin's Look, Chaeryeong's Undefined, Yuna's Tangerine — have already drawn strong responses from fans. Director Léa Esmaili emphasized the five members' narratives through composition, rhythm, and art direction, highlighting ITZY's experimental aesthetic. As ITZY moves forward with Motto on May 18, expectations are high to carry on the heat of Tunnel Vision.
