ITZY confirms comeback on May 18… Reaffirming their status as the 'Performance Queen' with mini album 'Motto'

ITZY has confirmed that they will release a new mini album 'Motto' on May 18 at 6:00 PM. According to a source, it is their first new release in about six months since last November's album 'TUNNEL VISION', and has been highly anticipated by fans. On the same day at 5:00 PM, a countdown live is planned ahead of the release, drawing more attention from fans. This mini album includes eight tracks, including the title track 'Motto' and songs such as 'Glitch' and 'you And I'. Additionally, there are five solo tracks from the members: 'Pocket (Yeji)', 'Asylum (RiA)', 'LOOK (Ryujin)', 'Undefined (Chaeryeong)', 'Tangerine (Yuna)'. The composers involved include Shim Eun-ji, Lee Woo-min, KASS, and Justin Line Stein. ITZY's upgraded performances, long celebrated as the 'Performance Queen', have proven their abilities through their world tour 'TUNNEL VISION'. One of the performances debuted on the tour at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, 'That's A No No', which drew strong audience reactions with its sharp choreography and dynamic energy and reportedly entered the Melon Top 100 chart. The solo tracks 'Pocket', 'Asylum', 'LOOK', 'Undefined', 'Tangerine' also received enthusiastic responses, heightening expectations for the new release. Teaser contents will be released sequentially, further boosting anticipation for the title track's performance. ITZY's experience performing both domestically and internationally is expected to be reflected in an even more upgraded stage manner on this album. On the release day, in addition to the 6:00 PM album drop, there will be a countdown live at 5:00 PM to engage with fans. A representative stated, 'This Motto includes eight tracks, including the title track and solo tracks, with a diverse lineup of writers.' They added that alongside the same-named title, tracks capturing each member's emotions complete the album's colorful palette. ITZY also plans to actively apply the production prowess gained from their world tour to the stage direction of this album. Fans are looking forward to the chain of events — Motto's release at 6 PM on the 18th and the countdown live at 5 PM on the same day.
