2026년 2월 3일
Group AB6IX has confirmed a comeback in mid-March. Brand New Music, the group’s agency, announced in a press release on the 2nd that AB6IX will release a new regular album in mid-March and return. The upcoming album will be AB6IX's first full-length release since 2021, roughly five years, and is expected to present the band's musical world and the direction they are heading, including songs the group has self-produced since debut. It marks a release about seven months after their 10th mini-album UPSIDE DOWN and its title track STUPID, released last August. Brand New Music also said that AB6IX's new album will weave the journey they have walked with the future ahead into one story to entertain fans visually and aurally. In addition, members Jeon Woong, Kim Donghyun, Park Woojin, and Lee Daehwi are active in various fields beyond music, including drama, variety shows, radio, and YouTube, and the comeback preparations were said to have progressed within these schedules. The five-year gap before releasing a regular album will serve as a milestone for AB6IX's musical independence and evolution, and fans are expected to feel another growth.
