MEOVV will release its new single “GO HARD” on October 12 at 6 p.m. The track arrives roughly four months after the group’s second EP, “BITE NOW,” released in June, building anticipation for new music and performances.
On October 1, THEBLACKLABEL announced the comeback and shared teaser content through its official social media channels. The five members—SOOIN, GAWON, ANNA, NARIN and ELLA—previewed the single’s concept with sporty styling and a carefree, chic mood.
In the images, the members pair sporty tops with jackets and boots, blending athletic looks with sleek pieces to highlight MEOVV’s signature cool. Their distinctive visuals and relaxed attitude add to curiosity about the music and stages ahead.
The single cover makes a striking impression of its own, featuring a metal chain pulled so taut it appears ready to snap. Paired with the title “GO HARD,” the tense image hints at a powerful musical direction for the release.
For now, however, the images offer only an early glimpse of the single’s mood. According to Sports Kyunghyang, the track’s genre and specific musical details have yet to be revealed. How the teasers’ intensity will translate into the music and performance remains a key point of interest.
MEOVV previously promoted “BITE NOW” with its title track, “DDI RO RI,” and the B-side “Hit ’Em,” showcasing varied musical styles and energetic performances. The group will now continue its activities with the new single.
Looking back at those promotions, TenAsia reported that parodies using a familiar passage from “DDI RO RI,” along with reworked videos incorporating other classical melodies, spread online. The song’s distinctive structure inspired a range of videos and drew attention to the music itself.
The same report highlighted the demanding performance of “Hit ’Em,” which involved choreographer Sienna Lalau. Its powerful moves set to a strong beat attracted attention for their difficulty. MEOVV also released an audio version that repeated the final dance break 20 times and shared a video of an ab workout set to the song, extending the performance into additional content.
After exploring their previous music and choreography through varied content, MEOVV is drawing interest in the energy they will bring to “GO HARD.” With sporty member teasers and a tense chain-themed cover already unveiled, the group’s first new song in roughly four months promises another look at its appeal.
“GO HARD” will be available on music streaming platforms on October 12 at 6 p.m.
