BOYNEXTDOOR Sets Japanese Single 'Boom Boom Boom' Ahead of Japan Tour
2026년 8월 14일
BOYNEXTDOOR will release their second Japanese digital single, 'Boom Boom Boom,' on August 18th. The release marks the group’s return to the Japanese market after approximately one year and arrives just before the Japan leg of their ongoing tour. Following the single’s release, BOYNEXTDOOR will begin the Japanese leg of 'BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.2’ IN JAPAN' on August 21st. The tour itself did not begin in Japan, as the group had already opened 'KNOCK ON Vol.2' with three concerts at KSPO Dome in Seoul from July 17th through 19th. The three Seoul concerts attracted a combined audience of 31,800. Across a 31-song setlist, the six members performed with live-band backing and presented a broad selection of material from throughout their career. The concert opened with '06070,' a track from BOYNEXTDOOR’s first studio album, 'HOME.' Contrary to an earlier description, '06070' is not the group’s debut song. The performance then moved through established fan favorites and other tracks while incorporating the themes and visual identity of 'HOME' into the concert’s overall structure. BOYNEXTDOOR’s Japanese concerts will begin at K-Arena Yokohama before continuing through additional cities. The tour gives the group another opportunity to meet Japanese fans on a larger scale while extending the momentum of their Seoul performances. 'Boom Boom Boom' is positioned as a new release for the Japanese leg of the tour. Arriving three days before the opening Yokohama concert, the song will provide fresh material for the group’s continuing activities in the market. Managed by KOZ Entertainment, BOYNEXTDOOR has expanded rapidly through album releases and increasingly large live performances. Rather than marking the launch of the entire tour, the August 21st concert represents the beginning of its Japanese leg. With 'Boom Boom Boom' arriving on August 18th and the Japan concerts beginning shortly afterward, BOYNEXTDOOR is connecting a new Japanese release directly with their live-performance schedule. The combination of the single and tour dates is expected to strengthen their presence among local listeners and fans.
