NCT WISH to Make Comeback with Fourth Mini Album ‘I SPY’ on October 12

NCT WISH will release their fourth mini album, ‘I SPY,’ on October 12 at 6 p.m. KST, marking their comeback approximately six months after their previous release. The album follows their first full-length album, ‘Ode to Love,’ released in April, and includes six tracks in total across a variety of styles, including the title track of the same name, ‘I SPY.’ All six songs will be available through major online music sites and global music platforms at 6 p.m. on release day, with the physical album also arriving that day. Pre-orders are currently available at various online and offline music retailers.

This year, NCT WISH achieved career-best results in both album sales and digital music performance with ‘Ode to Love.’ The album became their third million-seller overall and their third consecutive million-seller, marking a significant achievement during their domestic promotions. Their Japanese single ‘YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL,’ released in July, also surpassed 500,000 cumulative shipments and received a Double Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. With the group continuing its success as a million-seller in Korea and a Double Platinum artist in Japan, fans are eagerly anticipating the music and activities they will showcase with their new mini album.

New comeback content has also been released. Through their official YouTube channel, NCT WISH unveiled the ‘Confused Boy’ trailer. Set in a new digital world called ‘WISH LAND,’ the video follows the six members as they encounter an unknown entity called ‘energy’ and experience an unfamiliar emotion—excitement—for the first time. The trailer stylishly depicts the members discovering their own feelings as ‘energy,’ which appears in a tranquil space, suddenly disappears before reconnecting with them.

The agency explained that the new album captures NCT WISH as they encounter a wide range of emotions and grow through those experiences. The trailer, which hints at emotional changes and a new story alongside the group’s bright energy, has heightened curiosity about the ‘I SPY’ promotion. Fans are looking forward to seeing how NCT WISH, the six-member multinational boy group that debuted in February 2024, will build on its continued growth in Korea and abroad through its new music.
