NCT WISH’s ‘I SPY’ Sells 1.2 Million Copies in One Day, Becoming Their Fourth Consecutive Million-Seller

NCT WISH’s fourth mini album, ‘I SPY,’ has become a million-seller just one day after its release, marking the group’s fourth consecutive album to surpass one million copies sold.
According to SM Entertainment on October 13, ‘I SPY,’ released on October 12, recorded cumulative sales of 1,200,086 copies on Hanteo Chart. The figure, tallied as of October 13, makes it NCT WISH’s fourth million-selling album overall.
The streak began with their second mini album, ‘poppop,’ released in April 2025. Their third mini album, ‘COLOR,’ and first full-length album, ‘Ode to Love,’ also surpassed one million copies, followed now by ‘I SPY.’
The new release also topped domestic charts. Herald Muse and Donga.com reported that ‘I SPY’ ranked No. 1 on the daily Hanteo, YES24 and Circle Retail Album charts. All six tracks entered Melon’s TOP100 and HOT100 charts, as well as Bugs’ real-time chart, a result also reported by Sports Kyunghyang.
The album’s success extended to China and Japan. According to Donga.com, ‘I SPY’ topped both the overall and EP categories of QQ Music’s digital album sales chart in China. It also earned QQ Music’s ‘Gold Album’ certification after generating more than 250,000 yuan in sales, adding a digital sales milestone alongside its physical album sales in South Korea.
Donga.com and Sports Kyunghyang also reported No. 1 rankings on QQ Music’s Korean music video chart and the combined K-pop chart spanning five music platforms under Tencent Music. In Japan, the album topped AWA’s real-time rising chart, highlighting interest across multiple platforms at home and abroad.
‘I SPY’ contains six tracks, including its title track. Sports Kyunghyang listed them as ‘I SPY,’ ‘We On This Street,’ ‘Upgrade,’ ‘Super Major,’ ‘Hubble Time’ and ‘Kkumgyeol.’ With every track entering domestic streaming charts, the album is off to a promising start.
NCT WISH is a six-member multinational boy group under SM Entertainment that debuted in February 2024. MyDaily described the group’s name as reflecting a team born from the shared wishes of its members and fans. Under the catchphrase ‘WISH for Our WISH,’ the group aims to support everyone’s wishes and dreams through music and love. With ‘I SPY,’ they have now added a fourth million-seller to their record.
