BLACKPINK to issue commemorative stamp for 10th debut anniversary, first K-pop female artist
2026년 5월 8일
Group BLACKPINK is marking its 10th-anniversary milestone by becoming the subject of a national commemorative stamp. In collaboration with the Korea Post’s Public Postal Service under the Ministry of Science and ICT, the stamp will be officially issued on June 16 and will consist of 10 designs. The design is based on BLACKPINK’s full album jacket imagery that captures a decade of their musical journey, and the accompanying sheets feature portraits of the members and key performance images, boosting the stamp’s collectability. A notable point is that the issuer of the stamp is the first time a K-pop female artist has led such a release. The stamps will be available from June 16 at post offices nationwide and the Korea Post online shop, with a online pre-sale from June 12 at 7:00 p.m. to June 15 midnight. Overseas fans can also access global channels such as YG SELECT and the Korea Post’s English site.
YG said, “The moments and music BLACKPINK has lived through will meet in a new form, and we hope the stamp will be a precious gift cherished by Blinks around the world for a long time.”
In addition, BLACKPINK’s recent moves have drawn attention. The mini 3rd album DEADLINE posted first-week sales of 1,774,577 copies on Hanteo Chart, rewriting the rookie girl-group first-week record; the title track GO entered the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Charts Singles Top 100, setting a new record for the most chart entries by a K-pop female artist. The World Tour DEADLINE, which began last July and ran through January this year, included 33 performances across 16 cities, and a Wembley Stadium show in London helped cement their global stature. All members also joined the 2026 Met Gala.
The commemorative stamp and accompanying sheets add cultural symbolism and collecting value, aligning with the Korea Post’s traditional issuing purpose. Since stamps featuring living people are rare, this release has attracted particular attention. BLACKPINK’s decade-long musical journey is expected to continue spreading through diverse global channels, and fans will be able to gather the group’s representative works and moments and share those memories with Blinks around the world.
