Red Velvet Plans Full-Group August Comeback and 12th-Anniversary Fan Concert

Red Velvet will greet fans in August with both a full-group comeback and fan concert. SM Entertainment officially announced on the 15th local time that Red Velvet is preparing a new album and fan concert for August. It will be the group's first full-member activity in about two years since the release of seventh EP 'Cosmic' in 2024.

Red Velvet debuted on August 1, 2014, and will mark its 12th anniversary this August 1. The commemorative concert is titled '2026 Red Velvet Fan-Con.' Although detailed information on the album has not yet been released, the concert poster and schedule were announced first. The shows will take place at Tiger Dome gymnasium at Yonsei University in Mapo, Seoul, at 6 p.m. on August 1 and 4 p.m. on August 2.

Tickets will be sold through Melon Ticket. Presales for domestic fan-club members begin at 8 p.m. Thursday, while overseas fan-club members can reserve tickets from 8 p.m. on June 22. General sales begin at 8 p.m. the following day, June 23. Red Velvet is a five-member group loved for experimental sounds in songs including 'Bad Boy' (2018), 'Psycho' (2019) and 'Cosmic' (2024). It will make its first full-group comeback since WENDY and YERI left SM and celebrate its 12th anniversary with the fan concert.
