2026년 9월 17일
Boy group DAILY:DIRECTION is kicking off the countdown to its first mini-album comeback with the pre-release single ‘UP.’
According to their agency Odd Wave, DAILY:DIRECTION will release ‘UP’ on the 17th at 6 p.m. KST, followed by the official release of their first mini-album on October 14. This marks their comeback approximately three months after the release of their second single album, ‘MONKEY MODE,’ in July. Interest is building as this will be their first mini-album since debut.
DAILY:DIRECTION debuted in February with their first single album, ‘FIRST:DELIVERY,’ and released ‘MONKEY MODE’ in July. Through their previous activities, they have been praised for expanding their musical range with addictive melodies and trendy appeal. This time, they are preparing a new comeback while broadening their activities with a mini-album rather than a single.
Comeback promotions have also begun. Through their official social media channels, DAILY:DIRECTION released short-form content featuring snippets of ‘UP.’ The videos showcase the members’ free-spirited and playful personalities while giving fans an early preview of the new song, heightening curiosity. Their witty spoiler content ahead of the pre-release has further increased anticipation for their October comeback.
DAILY:DIRECTION is a six-member boy group consisting of Jang Yoon-seok, Lim Ji-hwan, Kim Joo-hyung, Lee Won-woo, E-VAN, and EN KIM. The group’s name embodies the idea that “daily choices build up to create each person’s direction.” Rather than following predetermined answers, the group’s core narrative centers on creating their own path through trial, error, and personal choices.
The pre-release single ‘UP’ will be released on the 17th at 6 p.m. KST, while the first mini-album will arrive on October 14. Expectations continue to grow as fans look forward to seeing what music and concept DAILY:DIRECTION will present with their first mini-album since debut.
