2026년 7월 10일
Group IZNA has partnered with a Sony Music label and will officially debut in the Japanese music market on September 2 by releasing their mini 1st album, 'HANDLE WITH CARE'. Composed of members Mai, Bang Jimin, Coco, Yoo Sarang, Choi Jeong-eun, and Jung Sebi, IZNA has established a strong foothold in Japan through high interest and activities even before their debut.
This Japanese debut album is IZNA's first mini-album in Japan, aiming to signal the start of their full-scale activities there based on the local popularity they have built up. Prior to their official debut, IZNA had already garnered significant attention in Japan. Last August, they performed at 'SUMMER SONIC 2025', one of Japan's largest music festivals, showcasing their excellent performance capabilities. They were also selected as vocalists for the TV commercial song 'Love All' for a famous Japanese beverage brand, further expanding their connection with the local public.
In particular, IZNA presented their first Japanese vocal track through 'BEEP (Japan Edition)', which ranked in the top positions on local major charts such as iTunes and AWA. Additionally, IZNA successfully held their first Japanese fan concert, 'IZNA 1ST FAN-CON [NOT JUST PRETTY] IN JAPAN', with all seats sold out in January this year. They also launched their first variety show named after them, 'IZNA's First Japanese Variety Show! WHAT IS N/A?', via ABEMA, proving their hot local popularity.
Their appeal extends beyond music to major magazines as well. IZNA has been featured in photo shoots for famous Japanese magazines like ViVi and ELLEgirl and has appeared on representative programs such as NHK Radio, solidifying their global presence. Ahead of their Japanese debut, IZNA shared their thoughts: 'We are grateful to our fans, NAYA, for always sending warm support and love. Thanks to NAYA, we are so happy to achieve our dream of debuting in Japan. We plan to present a wonderful album filled with IZNA's unique charm, so please look forward to it.'
IZNA has been showing rapid growth by challenging various genres and concepts with each album. Recently, with their mini 3rd album 'SET THE TEMPO' released in Korea, they expanded the narrative of their own 'individuality', achieving remarkable results on major domestic and international platforms. Through this Japanese advance, IZNA plans to accelerate their global activities. Meanwhile, IZNA's Japanese mini 1st album 'HANDLE WITH CARE' will be released on September 2, with detailed information about the album to be announced sequentially later.
