Super Junior-83z Announces Debut Album 'Promise for You' and Launches Asian Fancon Tour

Super Junior-83z, the unit formed by fellow 1983-born members Leeteuk and Heechul under SM Entertainment, has officially announced their debut. The agency revealed on the 1st that the unit will release their first mini-album, 'Promise for You' (너를 위한 약속), on the 13th. Super Junior-83z is a unit that highlights the contrasting charms of two members who share the same age but have completely different musical styles and personalities, gathering high expectations from fans.

The upcoming album 'Promise for You' features a total of six tracks, including the title track of the same name and 'Onsaemiro' (온새미로), which was showcased during Super Junior's 20th-anniversary encore performance in April. Along with the album release, Super Junior-83z will embark on a full-scale Asian tour. Starting from the Olympic Hall at Seoul Olympic Park from the 24th to the 26th of this month, they will visit nine regions across Asia, including Tokyo, Japan; Bangkok, Thailand; and Hong Kong, engaging directly with fans. This tour, coinciding with their debut album release, is drawing concentrated attention from the global fandom, with Super Junior-83z's activities coming under the spotlight.

Meanwhile, alongside the debut news of Super Junior-83z, other SM Entertainment artists are also continuing active activities. On the 13th, the same day as Super Junior-83z's debut album release, the girl group YOUNG POSSE will also release their first mixtape, 'YOUNG TAPE'. Commemorating YOUNG POSSE's 1,000 days since their debut, this mixtape includes a track that samples the representative song 'Mr.' by DSP Media's senior group KARA, raising fan expectations. Additionally, Lee Eun-sang of the group Unite has announced her departure from the team to start anew as a solo artist. Brand New Music stated that they decided on her solo transition, respecting the artist's new musical vision while considering her improved health condition. Lee Eun-sang debuted as part of X1, formed through the Mnet audition program 'Produce X 101', and after solo activities, she re-debuted with Unite in 2022, serving as a co-leader and lead vocalist while also participating in songwriting, composition, and production. The continuous moves of SM Entertainment artists, led by Super Junior-83z, are further intensifying the passion of the K-pop fandom.
