2026년 10월 28일
KATSEYE will make their India performance debut as a headliner at Lollapalooza India 2027, expanding their global reach with a major festival appearance.
According to HYBE-Geffen Records on October 28, the group will perform at the festival, taking place January 23–24, 2027, at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. KATSEYE will take the stage on January 24, the second and final day. It will be their first performance in India since officially debuting in the United States in 2024.
Fellow headliners include singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, American rock band Limp Bizkit and Irish band Fontaines D.C. KATSEYE will join a lineup spanning a wide range of genres.
Founded in the United States in 1991, Lollapalooza has expanded to South America, Europe and Asia. Its India edition launched in 2023 and will mark its fifth installment in 2027, with around 40 acts scheduled to perform across four stages.
The appearance holds special significance for Indian American member Lara. Her agency said visiting the country of her roots makes the trip particularly meaningful, adding a personal connection to the group's first meeting with fans in India.
KATSEYE have also continued their strong run on the U.S. Billboard charts. Their third EP, WILD, released in August, topped the Billboard 200. According to Edaily and TenAsia, it placed No. 39 on the chart dated October 31, extending its run to 10 consecutive weeks.
Pre-release track “Animal” has maintained its chart presence as well. Edaily reported that it ranked No. 30 on the Hot 100 in its 13th consecutive week on the chart. TenAsia reported that it reached a career-high No. 8 on Pop Airplay, which tracks U.S. pop radio plays. The festival announcement adds to the group's momentum as both the EP and song continue charting.
Formed through a joint project between HYBE and Universal Music Group's Geffen Records, KATSEYE are currently traveling across North America on THE WILDWORLD TOUR. In January 2027, they will head to Mumbai to meet Indian audiences for the first time as Lollapalooza India headliners.
