LUCY Unveils Trailer for Second Studio Album 'Childish' as Full 4-Member Comeback
2026년 4월 23일
LUCY has announced a comeback with a full four-member lineup. According to the agency Mystic Story, the trailer video for their second full-length album 'Childish' was recently released on the group's official SNS. The video traces a journey back to 'LUCY ISLAND', opening with Shin Kwang-il starting the Goldberg device. Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, and Jo Won-sang are shown with blank expressions, absorbed in childish games such as building blocks and darts, sparking curiosity among fans. In the trailer's final sequence, as the Goldberg device is completed, a train from the album cover appears to burst through a wall, injecting life into a colorless world. Additionally, the LUCY ISLAND ticket lists both the second album's release date, 'APRIL 29 6PM', and the debut year, 'LUCY 2020', hinting at a return to the debut point as the members regroup. This suggests LUCY will restart around Shin Kwang-il and embark on a journey to revisit the 'LUCY ISLAND' concept first imagined at debut. 'Childish' is a full-length album due about 1 year and 8 months after their previous release, featuring 15 tracks including the title track '전체관람가'. Jo Won-sang has led all of LUCY's album productions to date and is reported to have led the overall work on this album as well. Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, and Shin Kwang-il also contributed to the lyrics and composition of the tracks, enhancing the musical completeness. In addition, a complete version including tracks featuring Shin Kwang-il's voice from mini 6 and mini 7 is teased, drawing fans' attention. With the full comeback, LUCY is preparing a special moment with fans. A special busking event titled 'LUCY 2ND FULL ALBUM 'Childish' SPECIAL BUSKING' will be held at 3 PM on the 25th at a location in Seoul; the venue will be announced three hours before the busking. Meanwhile, the second studio album 'Childish' will be released on the 29th at 6 PM across various music sites, and on May 16 and 17, LUCY will hold a solo concert 'LUCY 9th CONCERT ISLAND' at KSPO DOME in Seoul's Songpa District. Through KSPO DOME, LUCY is expected to showcase stronger teamwork and an expanded musical spectrum.
