All three KSPO DOME shows sold out A year-long 'THIS IS FOR' journey TWICE reaffirms its stature as a performance-driven act
TWICE has demonstrated its enduring ticket power by selling out every date of the Seoul encore that will close its world tour.
According to JYP Entertainment, TWICE will hold encore concerts for its sixth world tour, 'THIS IS FOR,' at KSPO DOME in Songpa, Seoul, for three days from July 10 to 12. The shows will serve as the finale to a tour that has continued for about a year.
Presales for fifth-generation members of the official fan club ONCE opened on the 9th, followed by general sales on the 11th. Every seat for all three concerts sold out immediately. Beginning at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon last July, the 'THIS IS FOR' tour maintained its sold-out run through the final Seoul dates, once again confirming TWICE's solid global popularity.
The Seoul encore will retain the fully open 360-degree stage that became a symbol of the tour. At every stop, TWICE opened the seating on all sides to narrow the distance between stage and audience, earning praise for a fresh concert presentation. Through constantly shifting routes and a three-dimensional stage configuration, the members have connected with audiences in every direction and offered a differentiated live experience. They will conclude the tour with even more polished production and energetic performances in Seoul.
TWICE recently completed an 11-show European tour across eight cities with a final performance at London's O2 Arena. The group filled cities including Lisbon, Barcelona, Turin, Cologne and Amsterdam—where it held solo concerts for the first time since debut—with enthusiastic cheers, demonstrating its stature as a global girl group.
Industry observers say the tour has further consolidated TWICE's position not only through streaming and album results but as a formidable live act. They consider it particularly meaningful that a group entering its 10th year can still sell out large-scale world tours while introducing new concert experiences.
