Roy Kim conveys sincerity through handwriting ahead of Bloom Again release

Singer-songwriter Roy Kim has unveiled a self-written introduction in handwriting, heightening the remake album's sense of authenticity ahead of its release. The remake album '다시 불러 봄 - Bloom Again' is scheduled for release on the 20th at 6 PM and is described as conceived with the concept 'for the grown-up you, for today dulled under the name adult, to find my forgotten romance.' The introduction text appears in a handwritten drawing format, delivering Roy Kim's sensibility and personal narrative more vividly. He says the starting point is time and growth, and the world seen with a bright, verdant gaze recalls the past when things seemed always just. The introduction also contains the confession: 'the current painting, filled with compromises and experiences to safeguard the life I have now, might be the sigh of a coward wearing wisdom,' revealing the complex emotions of becoming an adult. Furthermore, 'times that feel more beautiful precisely because they cannot be returned to; to meet the past that was intense again through music, this remake was planned' and he hopes that the image of someone who quietly shrank will sing with him now. Through this album, Roy Kim aims to deepen connection with fans once more. The album includes six tracks, starting with '앵콜요청금지', tracing varying emotions from joy to sorrow, gratitude to longing, culminating in the final track '바람의 노래' which carries the message of 'love.' The six tracks have been reinterpreted as classics spanning generations from 1992 to 2013, reimagined in Roy Kim's own color. Roy Kim explains the meaning of each track himself, offering a moment to revisit 'the reason I am singing again now.' Going forward, he plans to broaden fan engagement through musical activities and diverse stages, presenting a deeper sensibility and more sincere messages with this album.
