Oh My Girl postpones full-group comeback to early next year
June 22, 2026
Oh My Girl's full-group activities have been postponed from the first half of this year to the first half of next year. WM Entertainment announced on the 22nd via its official account, 'We sincerely apologize for not conveying enough information to our fans regarding the group activities and performances previously announced through the media.' It continued, 'All six members share the same intention to continue together under the name Oh My Girl,' but explained that 'due to the extended process of collecting and selecting higher-quality music during album production, we determined it would be difficult to proceed according to our original schedule.'
The agency stated, 'Currently, the members are preparing to present a new album as Oh My Girl,' and 'are focusing on a release target for the first half of next year.' It added, 'Solo album activities by the members are scheduled for the second half of this year.' Meanwhile, Oh My Girl debuted in 2015. JinE left the team in 2017 for health reasons, and Jiho left in 2022 due to the expiration of her exclusive contract, making the group a six-member team. Last year, Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin renewed their contracts with WM Entertainment, while YooA joined People Entertainment and Arin joined ATRP. However, Oh My Girl has decided to continue full-group activities with all six members.
WM Entertainment emphasized in its official statement, 'Oh My Girl members value their meetings with fans more than anyone else and are striving to show their proudest and brightest side.' Additionally, regarding the delay in the album release schedule, the agency announced that it intends to extend the activity period of the 'OH MY GIRL GLOBAL OFFICIAL FANCLUB Miracle 6th MEMBERSHIP' until March 18, 2027, to ensure no inconvenience to fans' valuable rights and benefits. Specific details regarding the membership extension will be announced separately at a later date. WM Entertainment concluded, 'We once again express our apologies to our fans who have waited for a long time and promise to fulfill our responsibility to restore trust through more responsible and prompt communication.'
